Our Therapists

Andrea Ryan (she/her) LCSW
Owner/Therapist

From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. After exploring various careers, I finally found my calling when I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I haven’t looked back since.

My counseling philosophy is a strengths-based and holistic approach that is based in the ecological systems theory, which provides a framework for understanding how an individual is impacted by: people in their life, institutions and communities they are a part of, and culture overall. In this way, I am able to provide you with individualized care to meet your unique needs while recognizing that you function as part of a larger system.

Some therapeutic techniques that may be implemented include: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Talk Therapy.

I am an approachable, kind-hearted, and relatable person passionate about people's mission to thrive. I have experience working with adults and youth as young as 11. I want nothing more than for you to live your best life. You can thrive by working with me toward your goals.

My goal is to challenge you and provide the tools necessary for you to believe in yourself. My approach towards my clients is building connection together and within the mind and body. Some activities may include meditation, relaxation exercises, and collaborative activities created by therapist and client.

Caitlyn VanArman LLMSW (she/her) Therapist

If you’re looking for a therapist that is willing to listen, wants the best for you and is patient, then you came to the right place! I believe some of the most important aspects of therapy are having it be collaborative, compassionate and fun. I believe in a therapy
approach that is targeted to the client. Everyone has unique experiences and needs that I believe should be considered when it comes to therapy. I work a lot with play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and talk therapy. I have worked with children from
ages 5 to 18 and adults up to the age of 45. I have experience with substance use, ADHD, anxiety, depression and trauma. I would describe myself as an open person who is caring and willing to work with you during this time in your life. If you would like to

Therapist

Salutation. I believe in using a holistic approach to finding self-healing. I am excited to aid
individuals and families on their healing journey.

I have 6+ years of working with women and
children. My expertise is in client-centered care, focusing on the client's needs, and goals.
My primary areas of interest are women's issues, trauma/ PTSD, race, and identity conflict.
My ideal client group is women of color and single parents. I have extensive experience
working with very diverse groups of people and would love to partner with you to see how I
could be of service.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and systems-based. By examining all of the
elements of our identity, we are able to adopt a holistic view of self-who we are and who we
want to be. I believe it is essential to understand our origins in order to understand our
orientation and functioning capacity. Acceptance of self is where healing begins.

Hilary Langin LMSW (she/her)
Therapist

With a compassionate heart and a deep understanding of the intricate journey of grief, I am a dedicated grief counselor with a blend of personal and professional expertise. I hold a Master of Social Work from Spring Arbor University, specializing in grief and loss. My career, spanning over 5 years, has been committed to providing empathetic support and guidance to individuals of all ages grappling with the complexities of bereavement.

My professional path began at Ele’s Place, where I worked closely with adolescents and their families, helping them navigate the challenging waters of loss and emotional upheaval. This experience laid the foundation for my profound interest in grief counseling. I then transitioned into hospice care, focusing on anticipatory grief, where I developed a keen understanding of the unique needs of individuals and families facing the imminent loss of a loved one.

For the past three years, I have served as a Bereavement Coordinator for a local hospice agency. In this role, I have honed my skills in providing tailored support, creating meaningful programs, and facilitating healing spaces that acknowledge and respect the individuality of each person’s grief journey.

My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and deep commitment to walking alongside those in mourning, offering a guiding light through one of life’s most challenging experiences.
