Andrea Ryan (she/her) LCSW
Owner/Therapist
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. After exploring various careers, I finally found my calling when I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I haven’t looked back since.
My counseling philosophy is a strengths-based and holistic approach that is based in the ecological systems theory, which provides a framework for understanding how an individual is impacted by: people in their life, institutions and communities they are a part of, and culture overall. In this way, I am able to provide you with individualized care to meet your unique needs while recognizing that you function as part of a larger system.
Some therapeutic techniques that may be implemented include: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy

I am an approachable, kind-hearted, and relatable person passionate about people's mission to thrive. I have experience working with adults and youth as young as 13. I want nothing more than for you to live your best life. You can thrive by working with me toward your goals.

Alys Singleton LLMSW (she/her)
Therapist
From the beginning of my social work journey, I have been guided by a commitment to providing authentic, compassionate support to children, teens, and families navigating meaningful emotional and behavioral challenges. Before entering private practice, I served within the Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties (CMHA-CEI), working in Family Guidance Service (FGS).
At Families Forward, I provide intensive in-home services grounded in a strength-based treatment model that centered each family’s unique goals and existing capabilities. At Family Guidance Service, I worked with families whose school-aged children were
facing significant behavioral or emotional needs and at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home placement. My role focused on supporting caregivers in keeping their children safely connected to their homes, schools, and communities. These experiences reinforced my belief that healing happens not only with individuals, but within the systems that surround and support them.
My therapeutic approach is warm, genuine, and deeply collaborative. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to and nonjudgmental. I work intentionally to create a space where children, teens, and families feel fully seen and understood. I have experience
supporting clients with trauma histories, emotional regulation challenges, family conflict, academic stress, and identity development. I also have experience working with LGBTQIA+ youth and their families and am committed to providing an affirming,
inclusive therapeutic environment.
Techniques that may guide our work include TF-CBT, CBT, Strength Based Learning, and play-based strategies.
I am committed to ongoing professional learning, consultation, and reflective practice.
Above all, I believe therapy is a space where clients can show up authentically, explore their experiences, build skills and confidence, and move toward meaningful change with steady support along the way.

Hilary Langin LMSW (she/her)
Therapist
With a compassionate heart and a deep understanding of the intricate journey of grief, I am a dedicated grief counselor with a blend of personal and professional expertise. I hold a Master of Social Work from Spring Arbor University, specializing in grief and loss. My career, spanning over 5 years, has been committed to providing empathetic support and guidance to individuals of all ages grappling with the complexities of bereavement.
My professional path began at Ele’s Place, where I worked closely with adolescents and their families, helping them navigate the challenging waters of loss and emotional upheaval. This experience laid the foundation for my profound interest in grief counseling. I then transitioned into hospice care, focusing on anticipatory grief, where I developed a keen understanding of the unique needs of individuals and families facing the imminent loss of a loved one.
For the past three years, I have served as a Bereavement Coordinator for a local hospice agency. In this role, I have honed my skills in providing tailored support, creating meaningful programs, and facilitating healing spaces that acknowledge and respect the individuality of each person’s grief journey.
My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and deep commitment to walking alongside those in mourning, offering a guiding light through one of life’s most challenging experiences.

Krystal Rose LLMSW(she/her, they/them)

Salutation. I believe in using a holistic approach to finding self-healing. I am excited to aid individuals and families on their healing journey. I have 6+ years of working with women and
children. My expertise is in client-centered care, focusing on the client's needs, and goals.
My primary areas of interest are women's issues, trauma/ PTSD, race, and identity conflict. My ideal client group is women of color and single parents. I have extensive experience working with very diverse groups of people and would love to partner with you to see how I could be of service.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and systems-based. By examining all of the elements of our identity, we are able to adopt a holistic view of self-who we are and who we want to be. I believe it is essential to understand our origins in order to understand our orientation and functioning capacity. Acceptance of self is where healing begins.
